About (obsolete)

情報不足 – Dearth of information. Why this title? Because in my opinion, this is the exact word to describe this blog. It refers to the fact that this Tokyo pilot project was riddled with it. I won’t go into details but every participant in it knows what I’m talking about. It also refers to the fact that this blog will not be about what I’ve been doing everyday. The fact that it has Japanese in it reflects that Japan has a big part in this blog. The word “Dearth” may not be known to everyone, at least, it wasn’t to me. It wasn’t until one of my favorite Japanese teachers used this translation for the word 不足.

Stuff you may expect from this blog:

• Irregular updates
• Vagueness
• Nonrepresentative information about my everyday doings
• No pictures of me
• Posts like: “Today I was standing in the subway and there was this guy in a suit and I thought, “Hey, that’s probably a salaryman”. That’s it for today. -Jimmy.”

So I guess if you really want to know what I’ve been doing, I’ll just refer to other participants’ blogs. I’m not even going to copy/paste their stuff, let alone type out stuff. Let’s make things simple.
